For some reason when I restarted EVE I got a patch update.. ok no biggie, I let the patcher run, restarted the client when it was finished and I got.....
Incompatible (protocol)
the version listed is: 6.12.88737
Any clues here?

I find it interesting that the patch notes listed are:
ñáPatch 88517 to 88974 addresses Patch Notes for Apocrypha 1.2.2
but the patcher says current version is 88737
Um CCP.... do you guys know how to count? 9 comes AFTER 7 not before. I ask this because it makes absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL to have the patch versions like you do, all spastic and ass backwards. It's almost like you guys just stick five 9 sided dice in a cup, rattle it a bit and toss the dice and whatever comes up BINGO thats what our patch version will be! (even if it's not in numerical SEQUENCE... hellooo...)

Fixed. But CCP.. seriously... your client versions... please - in sequence... and you know.. maybe that manual patch page.. could use a bit of re-working, I'm not stupid and I still find it's layout slightly confusing. K thanks...

what a horribly WOWish name you have
I know....
What really bites is I played WOW for all of a week, hated it and never went back. Had no clue (or didn't recall consciously anyway) that this name had anything what so ever at all to do with wow, I just really liked the way it flows and as I was living on the Oglala Sioux Indian reservation near Pine Ridge, SD at the time (working as a Cattle ranch forman), it fit right in with my environment. It wasn't till a few months after I made it that someone told me it's WOW connotations.
Sux to be me, but heck, I still love the name in spite of it's sad, repulsive link to WoW.
